Screen Enclosure Coordination Before Tent Fumigation

Scope note: TD Screen FL does not provide pest-control, fumigation, safety, evacuation, re-entry, or property-preparation instructions. The responsible pest-control provider’s written requirements control the fumigation plan. This page addresses only coordination for eligible screen work on an existing enclosure.

Complete Checklist for Effective Termite Tenting

Start With the Pest-Control Provider’s Written Requirement

Ask the pest-control provider to identify the exact enclosure openings or screen panels that must be accessible for its approved plan. TD Screen FL should not select those locations or interpret the fumigation method. If the written requirement is missing or unclear, the screen scope should remain unconfirmed.

Identify the Exact Screen Areas

Document each requested opening by location and include clear photos of the panel, surrounding spline channel, adjacent panels, and any nearby door or hardware. The existing screen removal for tent fumigation service page owns the transactional service intent.

Define the Screen Scope Separately

The written estimate should state whether the approved screen work includes removal only, removal and reinstallation, replacement of a damaged screen area, or another eligible screen item. It should also state the exact panels, material or approved specification when relevant, related spline work, and exclusions.

Keep Pest-Control and Screen Responsibilities Separate

The pest-control provider controls fumigation preparation, tent placement, safety requirements, treatment, clearance, and re-entry. TD Screen FL controls only the screen work listed in its approved estimate. Structural changes, roof work, landscaping decisions, utility work, and pest-control instructions are outside this screen-content scope.

Stop When Instructions Conflict

If the requested screen access does not match the pest-control provider’s written plan, if another enclosure component must be altered, or if the source of the requirement cannot be confirmed, do not guess. Obtain exact written clarification from the responsible provider before approving screen work.

Request a Screen-Work Estimate

Send the pest-control provider’s written screen-access requirement and clear enclosure photos through the TD Screen FL contact form. The estimate can define only the eligible existing-enclosure screen work and its exclusions.
